Prices:

Arrival:
Check-in is between 4pm and 9pm on the day of arrival unless otherwise arranged. Please let us know if you plan to arrive outside those times, there may be an additional charge for early and late arrivals and departures.  Advice of approximate arrival times is appreciated so that we can arrange times for meals and gardening. 
 
Departure:
Check-out is before 10.30am on the day of departure. 

Payment:
We accept cash, debit card and personal cheque's.  Credit cards are accepted with a 2% surcharge added.

Deposits:
We may require a deposit of 50% to confirm a booking.

Telephone bookings are available on 01539 823259 card details are destroyed straight after taking a deposit.

On line booking for the Self-Catering Cottage or the Guest House may be made through the Golakes, Tourist Board website which can be connected from our website by clicking onto the links above.

Alternatively cheques may be posted, but please ensure that the cheques arrive within 10 days of the booking request.  The balance is due before departure

Cancellations:
Once you have booked your stay, our agreement is a legal contract. If you need to cancel please contact us immediately so that we can attempt to re-let the accommodation. We have a special, beautiful, costly property to look after.
If you cancel with more than one month notice we will return 50% of the deposit that you have paid.  We are as fair as possible with our clients and appreciate the same in return.
 
Smoking:
For the comfort of all our guests we operate a no smoking policy. 
 
Pets:
Pets are not permitted in the buildings.  We allow pets to stay in cars, at thier owners discretion  There are good dog walks locally. You are welcome to enjoy the garden but please leave it in a way that we can all enjoy it.

Children:
Low Jock Scar is generally an adult friendly place. We do not usually take bookings for Children under the age of 12 years old unless a Family group fills the guest house.  More flexibility is available in the self catering cottage.
