John and I would like to welcome you to our charming country guest house, which is located in an idyllic riverside setting surrounded by six acres of beautiful garden and woodland.
We are situated north of Kendal near the A6, in the Lake District National Park, five miles from the market town of Kendal. There is easy access to the M6.
We offer B&B facilities as well as a self-contained holiday cottage. Choose from Double/Twin bedrooms with fabulous views of the garden. All our bedrooms are en-suite with two bedrooms being on the ground floor.
We have been awarded Four star Silver Award for the Guest House and Four stars for the Cottage. Good Environmental practices recognition includes the CBEN Bronze Award.
Low Jock Scar is a very popular venue for groups and can accommodate 10 to 12 people. Ample off-road parking in the grounds is available for all our guests.
Delicious breakfasts and evening meals (by arrangement) are served in the sun room with beautiful views. The guest house has a residential license and stocks a range of wines, beers, spirits and soft drinks. There is a large comfortable sitting room.
You are assured of a relaxing atmosphere to unwind. We know the Lakes and surrounding areas well and are more than happy to provide ideas for your holiday with us.
